Private In-Home Lessons
Because so many dog behavior problems begin in the home, it is an ideal environment to evaluate and solve these issues. Whether we are aware of it or not, dogs are keen observers and often learn bad behavior as well as good behavior. We will teach you pack leadership skills and give you the tools to shape and encourage good behavior from your dog. Our first step is to conduct an evaluation at your home. Because no two dogs are alike, we will evaluate your dog’s behavior taking into account his specific behavior problems, age, breed, disposition, any prior training, as well as your day-to-day routine. Our goal is to identify your needs and incorporate them into an overall training program. Throughout this process, we will work with your dog in basic obedience where he will learn to walk on a loose leash, sit, down, and come to you both on and off leash. A happy, healthy and well-mannered dog is always our goal.
